Our all-natural soap is handmade using flowers and herbs and are perfect for all skin types. Our products are free from harsh chemicals and synthetic fragrances. All coloring and fragrancing is done by the plants themselves.

Our Story
The Elora Soap Company, started by John and Karen Kimpel in 1987 in Elora, Ontario, Canada, it is now based in the Heritage Village of Paisley, Ontario, Canada, where it’s been since 1990. It's a special place filled with energy and creativity, where Karen continues to craft the soaps. Their son Ben, is a big help in the store and crafts soap along side his mother Karen. Their daughter Sierra has returned from living in many of Canada's major cities and as far as Sydney, Australia and has returned home to manage the store full time which they couldn’t be happier about.
The Elora Soap Company is settled into a century-old building right on the main street, where they not only make soap but also grow many of their herbs and run their fun-filled retail store. Around here, you can write on the walls, chalk on the sidewalk, and play with tin toys—there's always something to explore! And yes, the store is open six days a week, so there's plenty of time to drop by and learn all about our soap-making process or just say hi. You might even spot Eva making a guest appearance helping out behind the counter.
The family extends to the pets too; they have two dogs, Edie (the Germen Shepherd and the younger one) and Loca (the mostly Aussie Shepherd and older one), plus two cats, Craig (the ginger) and Calie (the Calico). They all add to the lively, welcoming atmosphere of the shop and home.
